This Week
I’ve been in Spokane for almost 3 days now. It has been an incredibly refreshing vacation so far. I was able to stay with my dear friends the Hensruds for the past 2 nights and they are some of the most hospitable people I’ve ever met. Mr. and Mrs. Hensrud’s daughter Dezy and her husband Henry own and run the Maple St. Bistro which was where Garage Voice and I played at on Saturday night. Amazing people. Amazing Bistro.
Tonight I’m staying at the Fairbanks household and Karli and I are going to start recording tomorrow morning. We’re going to start with ‘A Sold Soul.’ It just so happens that Noah and Abby are on tour with Noah’s band and are in town for the next couple of days so, not too much revealed, but they might be involved in some of the recording.
Right now, I’m typing this from the Bistro enjoying some Dr. Pepper and beautiful sunlight through the windows. I’m going to go outside and play the guitar a little bit in the sun. I’m excited to let you all know how this whole thing goes!
