A Shiny Product
So I have been in an interesting place in the last week or so. I started a second job to save some money, and I’m moving out of the place I’m living to a cheaper spot in order to save even more money. So not many shows to report about, unfortunately.
I’ve been working a whole lot recently. I haven’t had a day off in about 2 weeks now, and its starting to weigh on me a little bit. I am thankful, though, that I even have a job. So I am blessed beyond belief to have two jobs in this economy right now.
But I have a week off coming up starting next Friday. I will be making my way over to Spokane, WA to play a show on Friday the 22nd at my dear friend’s Bistro. And I’m very happy to announce (to those that don’t know) that I will be staying in Spokane for that whole week to record my very first EP with this chick:

Karli Fairbanks is a singer-songwriter out of Spokane. I first heard her play at the Sunset Tavern with Horse Feathers back in November. Her and I have been able to become friends since then, with random trips to Spokane running into her, and being able to have her play at House of Paine.
Karli is an amazing songwriter and has the voice of a flying female super-cherub. But not only that, she is a freakin great recording artist. She’s got the right gear to get the stuff recorded and sounding tasty. I’m super thrilled to not only have her record my record and put her name on it, but to hang out with her as well. It should be tons of fun.
I really want to blurt the name of the new EP (Its not ‘Plain Spaces EP’ anymore… a few changes have occured…), but I cannot. Sorry.
So there’s an update for you! Make sure to listen to ‘A Sold Soul’ a few bages back on the blog. I’m kinda proud of it.
